The Fourth Annual Honorable Theodore T. Jones Invitational

The Fourth Annual Honorable Theodore T. Jones Invitational

It is my pleasure to invite you to join the Friends of the MBBA, Inc. at the Fourth Annual Honorable Theodore T. Jones Golf Invitational. The invitational will be held at the Paramount Country Club in New City, New York on Monday, October 2, 2017. This event will challenge golfers of all levels, and offer non-golfers plenty of activities. The day’s event will include brunch, food and refreshments on the course, and dinner as well as a host of prizes along the way.

The goal of this event is to raise funds to support the Honorable George Bundy Smith Scholarship Fund which consists of three scholarships for New York City law students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, a commitment to diversity or a passion for the intersection of law and the arts, science or business: The James Lipscomb (former general counsel of MetLife) Scholarship, The Shirley Stewart Farmer (1st President of the MBBA) Scholarship and The Honorable Theodore Jones (New York Court of Appeals) Scholarship.

Your support of the invitational is essential to the continued success and impact of the Honorable George Bundy Smith Scholarship Fund.

Do not hesitate to contact us at golf@mbbanyc.org with any questions that you may have. On behalf of the host committee, thank you for your consideration to participate in this worthwhile event. We look forward to seeing you on October 2, 2017.

Sincerely,

Joseph Drayton
Planning Committee Chair
