Our Story and History
In November of 1997, the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier opened its doors at Taylor Middle School. In late 2009, having out grown Taylor Middle School, the Club purchased the building located at 169 Keith Street in Warrenton. Soon after, the second club was opened in Cedar Lee Middle School. For 17 years, Executive Director Jon Gregory was at the helm. In August of 2014, the organization’s second Executive Director, Lynne Richman Bell, filled the role. Ms. Bell initiated the restructuring of the Club, and closely aligned a partnership with Boys & Girls Club of America. Over recent years, the Clubs have vastly expanded programming, staff and community outreach. The third Club expansion opened in Marshall Middle School in the Spring of 2018.The club currently serves approximately 350 youth through membership and outreach.
