A native of Las Vegas, Jason Zucker has been part of the Minnesota Wild organization since being drafted by the team in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Currently in his eighth season with the Wild, Zucker has scored 110 goals and tallied 86 assists for 196 points in 377 games played. As of the 2018-2019 season, Zucker’s 110 career goals cement him as the Wild’s fifth all-time leading scorer. Zucker is married to Minneapolis-based radio and television personality Carly Zucker (Aplin). The two have a daughter, Sophia, a son, Hendrix, and a baby girl on the way. The Zucker family resides in Minnesota throughout the season and splits their summers between Nevada and Minnesota. Off the ice, the Zucker family devotes their time and energy to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. During the 2017-2018 season, the Zuckers started the #GIVE16 Campaign to raise awareness and funds for their space, the Zucker Family Suite and Broadcast Studio at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Fans, friends and family members came together to raise over $1 million dollars to build the state-of-the-art space where families can relax and forget the real reason they are at the hospital. The ribbon cutting took place Nov. 26, 2018.
