Haller Legacy Tournament
Please join us for the Haller Legacy Tournament to benefit the Haller Legacy fund throughSCTCC Foundation on June 24,2019. We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Territory Golf Club in Saint Cloud, MN ( www.territorygc.com ). The event will include a 4-person scramble, dinner and awards receptions following the golf. John Haller believed in making things happen! His early years were spent being actively involved in scholastic, athletic, and extracurricular activities in Atwater, Minnesota. John graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1985; while there he helped run the intramurals program and was named acting director his senior year. He received his master’s degree in higher education and was subsequently hired by Illinois State as an Associate Director of Campus Recreation. It was his dream job to be at a large campus with such excellent facilities. An intense desire to be near family brought John, his wife Sandy and their three boys back to Minnesota, where John started his work at St. Cloud Technical & Community College. He proudly and enthusiastically built the athletic program there into a competitive one within the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association. Giving back has been a major part of the Haller family focus, sharing time and support with the schools and community. John’s desire has always been to provide opportunities for students to grow to be the best they can be. The scholarship fund that is named in his honor seeks to carry on his legacy and support students on their journey to adulthood. Register now and remember to invite your friends to play.
