We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA (www.classicclubgolf.com). The event will include a 4-person scramble, longest drive competition, closest to the pin competition, and awards luncheon with raffle drawings and live auction following the golf tournament.

The FoA  is a nonprofit charitable organization that supports, funds, and furthers the programs and services of the Riverside County Office on Aging and other new and innovative programs that sustain and enhance the quality of life of older adults in Riverside County.  All proceeds from the golf tournament will be used to help seniors in need.

Another great reason to play in the Foundation on Aging Charity Golf Tournament at the Classic Club in Palm Desert on October 1, 2022: Susie Maxwell Berning, long time resident of the Coachella Valley, has agreed to be the Honorary Tournament Chair. Named Rookie LPGA Player of the year in 1964, she won eleven major tournaments in her career including Women’s US Open titles in 1968, 1972, and 1973.  She was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in March 2022, along with Tiger Woods, Tim Finchem and Marion Hollins.  She’s been teaching golf for the past 30 years ̶ 20 years at the Reserve Club in Indian Wells. Susie will conduct a complementary putting clinic prior to tee-off on tournament morning, has offered two one-one one golf lessons as tournament prizes and plans to donate golf memorabilia items for the silent and live auctions to take place at the event.
